Before & Aftercare

All Cosmetic Tattoo clients- 24 Hours before your appointment

  • NO Alcohol, Caffeine, or Blood thinners (ibuprofen, NSAIDS, Advil, Fish oil, Kombucha, or caffeinated tea’s including Green tea & Matcha) 24 hours before your appointment.

    • Clients with previous work not done by us are required to email photos and get approval via email from artist prior to booking.

    • No botox or fillers 2 weeks before appointment.

    • Clients getting eyeliner must stop Lash growth serums at least 2 months ahead of their appointment.

    • Eyelash extensions must be removed prior to eyeliner appointment.

    • 4 weeks before your appointment stop the following- Retin-A/Retinol/Vitamin A/ All tretinoid derivatives, Laser or chemical peels, micro needling

    • Please review after care and email us if you have ay questions or concerns.

    24 Hours before your appointment

    • NO Alcohol, Caffeine, or Blood thinners (ibuprofen, NSAIDS, Advil, Fish oil, Kombucha, or caffeinated tea’s including Green tea & Matcha) 24 hours before your appointment.

    • Please stop fish oils and blood thinners 4 days prior to cosmetic tattooing if possible.

    • Make sure to bring a hat to your appointment to protect your brows from direct sun exposure for the following 4 weeks. Using sunscreen after 4 weeks is highly recommend moving forward to preserve brows from fading.

    • No Makeup or face products on or near brows for 10 days.

    • After 1 hour- Wash your hands thoroughly and remove blood and lymph build up from brows with a warm damp cotton round. Apply a thin layer of aquaphor.

    • For the next 7-10 days while brows are scabbing and flaking avoid- Picking scabs, wetting brows, steamy showers, profuse sweating, and anything that may cause scabs to soften and come off.

    • Only apply a thin layer of Aquaphor when your brows/skin feel tight. Do not use too much Aquaphor as it may hinder healing if it is overdone.

    • Avoid friction on your brows during first 10 days of healing (side sleeping, and Massages/ chiropractic adjustments That require you to be in a face cradle.)

    • Gently wash your brows with a mild cleanser once all scabs appear to be gone.

  • Description text goes here• No eye Makeup or water on eyes for 7 days

    •Ice eyes with a protective barrier between you and your ice pack to help with swelling on the day of the procedure.

    •Apply a very thin layer of Aquaphor to your lash line every other day or when the treated area feels tight.

  • •Do not wet brows or lashes for 24 hours (48 hours for Yumi lash lifts)

    • Avoid sleeping on your face/side to prevent crushing freshly laminated/lifted hairs.

    •Brush brows & lashes while they are wet, directly after showering or washing your face to style them.

    •You may use hair conditioner at any point in time after 24 hours to help moisturize brows ( not lashes).

    •After 2 weeks use a hydrating oil of your choice (We recommend sweet almond oil with vitamin E oil) to maintain the integrity of your hair.

    •Please make sure you are scheduling lash lifts and laminations at least 8 weeks apart and following aftercare. Yumi lash lifts do require 10 weeks between lifts. Please reach out to reschedule within our 48 hr cancellation policy if your brow/lash hair still seems slightly laminated/lifted to avoid over processing.

  • Be gentle when brushing your hair, start from the middle down to avoid pulling out hair sparkles at the root of the hair. Do not use rat tail combs by your hair part to avoid pulling out sparkles. You may blow dry your hair and use heated tools as usual.
